How did we get Calgary's 2nd rounder? I don't remember this deal haha, just clearing things up.

You didn't specify which 2nd rounder you were trading so that was your own 2nd, not Calgary's. A better question would be why your 2nd ended up in Edmonton when you traded it to Vancouver.

Also, the signing of Jock caused you to lose your S8 4th, not S9. http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=673 Hamilton has that pick.

I spoke to Hamilton and we came to the agreement that it could be S9 4th rounder.

on a semi-related note, S8 MIN 2nd I put on Vancouver now. If anyone on Edmonton or Vancouver or anyone can find a reason as to why I had that pick with Edmonton, the please post.

I've been trying to say this. We only have one first, one second and a third. Every other pick has been traded.

Okay, heres the deal with the picks. We traded OUR 2nd to Edmonton at last seasons draft. We then acquired 2 other second rounders in various trades, then traded Calgary's second (one we acquired) to Vancouver. We should only have one second.

Vancouver should have the other one. I believe it was used in the Perhonen trade.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. In the future, specify which pick you're trading, even if you only have one at the time.
