THE NEW ENGLAND WOLFPACK VERSUS THE HAMILTON STEELHAWKS
</div>
An exciting series this has been so far. The series is tied at 1-1, with New England winning the first game 5-2...but the Steelhawks bounced back in game 2 to win it in overtime, with a game winning goal by their Captain Joe McKeil. Now the series moves to Hamilton, where the Steelhawks will be hoping that this fanbase will give them that extra edge to bring home the win.
New England will be looking to find that offense that was shown in the first game, netting 5 goals. They will rely heavily on their main offensive thread, Carter O'Callahan. He has been amazing so far during these playoffs, but he didn't show up in that 2nd game. The Steelhawks were able to shut him and his line down. They also will be looking to buy a goal for their powerplay which is really struggling to find the twine. Tennyson has played outstanding during these playoffs also...trying to shake off and shut up all the haters that have talking crap about his playoff performances in the past.
Hamilton will look to Ask to make another outstanding performance like he did in game 2. He posted a 0.943 save percentage in that game, and will need to continue that if the Steelhawks are looking to take the lead in this playoff matchup. They also have seemed to change up their lines for this bout tonight. They are trying to spread their offensive powers to all the lines. Will this work? You will have to wait and find out...

Puck drops soonish....Won't be as long as Jakob's as I am kinda tired...and will try to finish before the Dallas Stars game
(I also stole this from ArGarBarGar.....It seemed like the right thing to do.....)
2:40 into the period, and JÄnis KrÅ«miņš has the puck and he is annihilated by Kaspars Tsizling! He finds his feet though and gets into Tsizling's face!
A fight??
Tsizling looks heated and gives Krūmiņš a whack with the blade!
*Whistle*
2 minute minor to Tsizling for slashing!!
Oh my Tsizling is mad.....

The Steelhawks get on the powerplay, and start setting up in the zone...
About a minute of passing around the outside, but the Wolfpack are able to block any shooting lanes. Finally Joe McKeil has the puck...he dances around a defender and lets loose a shot from the slot!
Oh it just missed the net!
Rider Clitsome finds the rebound off the boards and tries to sneak one in behind the pad of Tennyson!

Tsizling is livid as he leaves the box and makes sure he gives the ref a earful on his way back to the bench....
The Wolfpack seem to get a boost of energy with seeing Tsizling get worked up and tries to even it up for him right away!

Edwin Ask puts up the wall again! Looks like he is still carrying some of that magic he had in game 2. The Wolfpack are frustrated that they just can't break through!!
