lol yes he can. In my 5th season with the Flames, I started Ortio (who was an 84 at the time) and he gave me 40 wins. Then again, I had a much better lineup (M. Earl (87) - Solberg (92) - Shinkaruk (87) ) then his, but still. Campbell and Ortio are studs in this game.

This is a very very iffy deal that I could easily lose but I felt like I had to make it given I'm in the last year of my contract and not making the playoffs won't cut it. I got offered this by Chicago:

To CGY:
Duncan Keith (90 overall, 35 years old)

To CHI:
Chris Kreider (84 overall, no development left)

Keith is an elite defender that only comes along every so often... Big price to pay but those prospects won't help me win a cup NOW. Kreider is a mediocre second liner with decent scoring. He can be replaced. This leave me with .4 mil in cap space so gotta free some up :o

After that trade, I had to clear cap room and I had WAY too many players. I had at least 10 guys scratched. So I moved my 5th goalie for a 1st rounder and I moved McIlrath who fell right off my depth charts with his nonexistent progression and Harrington's beastness for another first.

Still had too may guys so I traded former first rounder Jake Virtanen (4****, 56 overall), 2 3rds a 4th and a 5th for Tyler Biggs (4**** 83 overall).

Get rid of a surplus player and gives me a solid 3rd line scorer.

Then I literally couldn't send anyone down due to roster limits, but couldn't call up due to salary cap limit so I had to move a guy on my NHL roster in order to make some roster moves. So I chose Mitch Wahl, a 80 overalls sadly regressing forward.

Moved him for J. Paaklonavaara or something like that. Just cause I saw paakymabpbber at the draft and wanted him for his name :lol: so with roster space I made some moves and the team looks solid. I have two firsts that I can move in the instance that Campbell is shitting the bed and lots of other assets. I'm going win now...

Yeah, plus I'm a leafs fan irl so...

It's 2017-2018 and he's at 83 overall so he'll probably cap at 85, but not playing 3rd line minutes...

Just as I write this, Biggs scores the overtime winner in the sim :D
