And yeah, I've been using Stalock who I got in the first year at like 76 and now he's 85. We went 10-0 in the first 10 with him and we went to the 2nd round in our 3rd year after a monstrous rebuild. Gonna roll with him until Campbell passes or is very close to him.

He had like 350+ PIMs in the first year and is at somewhere over 200 at the deadline it's hilarious :lol: i've been planning to movehim but he's still developing and at 76 so I wanna see where he goes from there.

Don't have time to sim right now but yesterday I simmed through the trade deadline and despite numerous trade offers only made one trade with the Montreal Canadiens.

Ferland was a depth forward easily replaced and Schoten was a 2 1/2 star unsigned guy. Thrower is a **** guy who gives me more depth at d to go with Wotherspoon and Harrington in the AHL. I happily accepted this trade from Montreal and I get to continue increasing my depth in youth while not really giving up anything for my future.

Fuck that. The sim was weird, I hit sim to the next game and it began to sim to the next day but I wanted to stop it and see which injuries I had and do something first... I hit triangle to stop it but then the sim decided instead of stopping, it was gonna hyperspeed sim and simmed the rest of the series...

I lost in Game 7 so not bad to come back from 3-0 but gah. So yeah 2nd round knockout again but we'll have developed players again next season and more prospects to add to the pool... i don't even think I've been scouting

Alright so I didn't lose any one to retiring so that was solid but this draft was shit. Picked up a 3 1.2 stars prospect with my first rounder and a 3 star in the second but the rest were two stars.

First Round: E. Teifel Computer generated Teifel is a 19 year old sniper from Germany that will develop into a 3rd liner MAYBE second liner if he does really well. 3 1/2 stars with no scouting so we'll see if it fluctuates as we head into the resign phase, I'll update you guys.

Second Round: S. Davidson, defensive defenseman with 3 stars that will take up space in the AHL. Nothing special and he just allows me to ship out other guys.

Third Round: CRAAP Yeah after the second it was crap 2 stars who I drafted based on if they had a cool name.

Kept my surplus of young players on the block but put Stalock and Del Zotto OTB. Heading into FA the only good FA was Subban and I offered and I'll update later if I got him. Was simulating to July 4th but on the third Montreal proposed a trade.

I adjusted the trade by taking out Lilja and putting in Montreal's first rounder and they accepted. Well our team has fallen apart completely and is sitting at 18-26-7 after the all star break. Needed to make some moves and got offered a trade I couldn't resist.

Finished terribly with a record something like 32-43-7 so yeah. Weird fucking year following two 2nd round playoff exits.

After that horrifying season a couple changes needed to be made in the offseason. Firstly, the draft. I had the 6th and 11th picks which I used on two RWs. They were both 3 1/2 star playmakers and I drafted the rest based on who had the coolest names (Tiny Tucker :lol: Rocky Kessel).

Turns out one of my first rounders actually had 4 stars so hopefully they will develop well.

Solid 3rd line forward and it gave me space to sign a goaltender in FA. Irving was a backup at best and I had Ortio and Campbell also at 83.

Heading into FA didn't really have many needs and it was in no ways a spectacular FA class. Looked through the young guys but there wasn't anyone worth pursuing other than a goalie. BUT I had 6 goalies already so I made the above trades.

I found a goalie Petr Repik who was 4 stars so he'll be a solid future goalie. Signed him 3 year .6 mil per.

Tried to sign Buffalo prospect Andrei Makarov who was an RFA but he chose to resign in Buffalo

So yeah, I'll update later with lines.
