Johansson against Nets again at center ice, and Johansson wins it. The Outlaws move into the zone but get a whistle from the referee! Were they offside?

NO - Kasius is being penalized with hooking!

Mitsuharu and his wingers go against Maximus in the Scarecrows zone, and wins the draw.

They’re able to get the puck to the neutral zone, but the Outlaws drive back in.

Shot by Kofix from the hash marks - turned aside by Doyle!

Ziggy Tambo gets the puck from Robinson, and shoots - stopped by Doyle and collected by Forfeit who strips Meszaros.

Forfeit shoots!

WIDE! It misses the net!

Kofix gets the puck, and it bounces off a stick to center, the Outlaws have to reset and try again.

Kofix to Petrenko, who tries to feed Maximus on the line, but the pass is too fast and he ices the puck.

The Outlaws go back to their zone, and Maximus loses the draw.

Dangelchek gets the puck but Ziggy Tambo drives him into the boards - no call!

The Outlaws get the puck and get it into the neutral zone, but the Scarecrows stand them up and force them back into the Outlaws zone.

Zaporozhets controls the puck, and slides into the slot before shooting.

Zaporozhets gets the rebound, and shoots again!

This time Chamberlain gets a pad on the shot and it goes wide.

Marston has come on the ice, and he gets the puck, shooting it through the crease - Mega Tron is there for the tip but the puck goes wide.

Hernadivic collects and shoots it - wide again!

The Scarecrows are putting pressure on the Outlaws but they have quite a few misses as well!

Dangelchek collects the loose puck and moves up the ice, where he shoots at Chamberlain and goes for a change.

Robinson moves the puck back up ice, and he directs a slap-pass at Carragher, who tips it on net.

Doyle stops the puck, the rebound comes to Robinson again. The Outlaws set up and try it again - another slap-pass!

Another save by Doyle, and this time the rebound comes to Mega Tron, who is hit by Owens.

The puck comes out of the zone and the play is called off-side.

Robinson wins the face off and gets the puck in the zone, where Carragher shoots.

The shot misses, and St. Louis begins to break out.

Ronlain and Zaporozhets break into the zone, passing on a give-and-go play. Zaporozhets shoots - tipped by Ronlain!

Stopped by Chamberlain.

Marston gets the puck back to Ronlain, but the next shot caroms weirdly and goes out to center ice.

Maximus goes for the puck, and breaks into the Scarecrows zone, establishing a cycle.

Both teams are down a man, it looks like we are going to close out this period with some 4-on-4 hockey!

Marston wins the face-off against Kevin Robinson, and the Scarecrows set up to try and break into the Outlaws zone.

They keep getting stood up at the zone, and the game goes back and forth in the neutral zone until the penalties expire.

With that, the last few seconds on the clock ticks off and we have a close to this very exciting first period, with the Scarecrows leading 3-2!
