BREAKING NEWS
RIOTS IN THE STREETS OF MOSCOW The annual WJC bronze and gold medal matches were slated to take place Sunday evening, however, news of the Carter Cameron II Dar Trophy Nomination at the S51 SHL Awards Ceremony brought frenzied cultists to the streets in a large scale riot/celebration of their leader. Conditions made it unsafe for fans/players alike to participate in the WJC medal matches and they were postponed until Monday. The riots did not quiet down, and intensified once the awards were broadcasted and Carter had indeed won the Dar Trophy. The riots are clearing up here on Tuesday morning and the IIHF and WJC board have announced were are good to go to begin the medal matches on Tuesday afternoon. I just wanna put it out there that I think we'd all appreciate better communication on this front in the future. I know there's a ton going on behind the scenes and thats difficult. I don't want to make a big deal, just throwing that out there. That's how I feel. Not looking for an explanation or anything, just giving feedback

The anthems are done and the starting lineups are taking the ice. For Sweden we have Jake Primeau, Henrik Lekberg Osterman, and Karl Krashwagen at forward. Zlatan Ibrahimovic Jr. and Sven Yxskaft on D, and Cillian Kavanagh on loan in net. For Canada we have Conor Tanner, Jean-Paul Boivin, and Bo Kane up front, Delver Fudgeson and Adam Barron on the backend, and of course Ian Venables in net. This should be an exciting game as the teams line up for the opening draw.

Missed the net! Shepard collects the puck and sends it back to Last-Name. Back to Moreau. Loads up a clapper! Missed the net! Shepard gets it back, Sweden looks gassed. Sends it to Moreau who one times it! Missed the net! Last-Name gets it the time, Moreau is calling for it. He ignores Moreau and sends it to Corrigan for a shot! | |
