That would give me a hat trick. I'd like to see that, it's been a few seasons since my last one.

The score now sits at a hefty 5-2, with about 15 minutes left to play, or something like that. Math is hard.
Not much happens in the next three minutes, the Dragons have tried to set up a neutral zone trap and everything on their end is just passive right now. Texas, try as they may, can't catch a break. Until! A whistle!
Pederson is apparently tired and not using those feet, and gets a hooking penalty with 11 minutes of game time left! Power play for the Oakland Raiders, I think.

Faceoff in the Dragons zone, this one is very important. Scramble for the dropped puck...
Anrikkanen wins the draw! Lloren swoops in and absolutely flattens him, taking the puck for himself. Quick series of passes, to several other assorted Renegades to Alexandersen, who dumps it in for some reason, even though they're on the power play.
Another faceoff, this time on the opposite end of the ice. Ref lets go, Anrikkanen has it! He shoots!
Palat panics and ices the puck, making it the second time this powerplay that there will be a faceoff in the Texas zone!
Horvat wins the draw, but Palat is on a tear! He dumps the puck in again! This power play seems to just not be clicking!

The Dragons PK holds steady, and it's back at even strength.
Horvat wins yet another faceoff, but doesn't give it to Palat this time. A bit of a scuffle, and Horvat emerges with the puck, streaking into the Calgary zone.
He's got a breakaway! Skating at full speed down the middle of the ice, with his hot hands and big nose...
WONG IS POISED TO SAVE BUT IT GOES WIDE ANYWAYS!
By now, the rest of the skaters have caught up, and a mad dash ensues for the puck. After about 30 seconds of constant turnovers from both teams all within the Calgary zone, Kinsler emerges with the puck, and has space to work.
Over the next six minutes, not much else happens. Zoidberg takes a hooking penalty, but the Dragons kill it off, a few dumps in, a few faceoffs, a few weak shots. Just boring, passive hockey.
Calgary stands tall and wins game 5 of the series, taking the 3-2 lead over Texas. Tune in sometime in the near future for game 6. The past five games have all been thrillers, but it could all end come tomorrow. Only one way to find out.
