The teams regroup and the puck is dropped, this time the British get it out of their end. But the Swedes get the puck back off a lazy pass from Bergen and begin to work it the other way. Lets see if they can do something here with all of the pressure they have out on you would assume this has to amount to something.
They work it into the zone and work the puck around a bit but then its sadly intercepted again by the British. And it goes the other way. The two teams are really struggling to connect on their passes and are also really struggling to get things set up in the offensive end. A lot of dump and chase going on which only plays in favor of the British.
The next few minutes are played with a few shots but really just a bunch of turnovers in the 9th and 10th minute of the period

Its now 9:50 in the 1st period and the British are moving the puck around nicely but stout defense by Sweden is hindering any shot attempt. A quick flip to the corner and the British are changing giving the puck to Zlatan, who works it up to DuBolk and into the British end of the ice. His pass to Krashwagon makes it through, Krash takes aim and shoots…
After the Swedes win the ensuing faceoff they dump it into the corner where its picked up by Liljestrom, who sends it to Osterman. Osterman tries to return the puck to Liljestrom but its picked off by MacIntyre and going the other way. Zheng gain the puck and dumps in into the corner where its picked up by Svenson… but he is crushed by Kirkby. Nystrom is able to regain possession for the Swedes.
Nystrom moves it to Hammarberg, who moves it to Johansson in the British end. The puck makes its way to Svenson who shoots… BLOCKED, but back to Svenson… BLOCKED, but back to Nystrom who shoots….
Passumus wins the ensuing draw and the Swedes work the puck around and it finds his stick in a shooting position, but its stopped again by Robinson. They need to find a way to solve this guy.
The Swedes win the faceoff again against Zheng (not a forward) and the puck find the stick of Soderberg. Soderberg turns and only sees the shoulder of MacIntyre. OUCH.
