Down but not out, Hamilton knows what they need to do, or at least gain some momentum back for the rest of the series.
They need to focus on possession time and slowly tilting the ice the other way.

The Steelhawks reset with the puck, behind their own goal, setting up the breakout. Mild pressure is applied by Banananak, but nothing that Duggan can’t evade.

Duggan moves the puck to his partner, Owens, but the pass skips off the uneven coliseum boards, and Banananak is able to gain possession and feed a pass to the point where Tony Pepperoni is gliding in with his stick fully lifted...

He slaps piss out of the puck!

It goes in! A hat trick for Tony in a career game! Banananak goes to collect the puck and join the hug along the boards before gliding through the knuckle pile. Pepperoni has been spicy all season long, and never spicier than right now. An elimination game hat trick. A la Justin Williams before the capitals ruined him.

2 minutes go by and Tor Tuck is possessing the puck in his own end. Dealing with heavy pressure, he finally gets the puck clear and goes for a change.

At the other end, tig murphy sets up the breakout and starts moving the puck.

Aaron Wilson cuts across the middle, Cuddles goes for another shot...

but misses! Murphy springs wilson who carries the offensive zone…

Wilson drops it back for Miller before setting up on the opposite pipe...

Miller carries it closer, around the outstretched body of Brokstad...

I worked late last night, so apologies for lack of pacing, but with twelve goals, i was kind of handcuffed about what to write about.

Thank you to Jax Duggan for sticking around an asnwering a few questions,

1) who is someone on the blizzard that have enjoyed competing against?

Jean-Paul [Boivin], I helped mentor him in the J, so now we enjoy tormenting him when we can, if he ever gets ice time.

2) how has this series compared to the rest of your historic playoff run?

Code:
it's tougher, I'm not going to lie to you, Edmonton is a great team filled with star talent, and it's shown in how close all the games have been.

3) give a few words on having multiple assists/turnovers for Pepperoni’s hat trick.

Code:
listen with the players we have, getting points can be hard, they're puck hogs, so any points are nice let alone having multiple. Though one day i’d like that to be me getting a hatty.

4) as a first overall pick, you've played a large role in multiple franchises already. Is Hamilton your forever team?

I hope so, I've already been in talks with managment about extending my contract as long as I can. The guys here are honestly great and I don't think I would have as much fun playing with anyone else. Well that's not true but I'm not gonna risk the suspension of naming names.

5) who did the pump up speech before that last period, where you guys really fell apart? was anything special said?

Honestly, Tig Murphy is our usual pump up guy. He … really gets us going … deep … hard … stuff.

6) is there anyone on the team that gets under your skin as much as the opposing team?

Yea that fuckin Johnson guy, he's been a pain in my ass since the juniors, always trying to steal ice time in the world Juniors and iihf, now he waltzs in here swinging his dick around because he's on the first line when we all know they just wanted to give Tig a scrub to make him look better.
