Yesterday's game saw the Anchorage Armada take the narrow win over Kelowna. It was Petrikov of bagged the game winner, undoing the Knights' comeback to 2-2 after two first period goals got Anchroage off to a good start.
The Armada will be pleased by the result in their first Four Star Cup series since their move to Anchorage, and they'll be looking for another win in this second game at home. Meanwhile, the Kelowna Knights will not want to leave Anchorage empty handed and will try to even the score tonight. ![]() Registered singing solo you can't hear him

The referees come onto the ice first, and check the nets. The arena goes dark, the music swells and the announcer welcomes the Achorage Armada onto the ice. The Kelowna Knights follow shortly after, and the starting five of both teams line up for the first faceoff.
The referee takes position at center ice, and drops the puck on the dot between Jake Primeau and Ryan Shepard to get the play under way, ![]() Registered Trade Me

With only four minutes played in this first period, we have our first power play of the night. It was Luke McSquirrelly who got sent to s=the box for interference, after illegaly taking out an Armada player to break the passing sequence. On the power play line for Anchorage we see Mitchell van der Heijden, Jay Reeves, Ryan Cvitkovich, Daniel Bisschoff and Lando Norris line up for the face-off to the left Del Vecchio's net. Ryan Shepard, Kalevolaripaavo Kaspertommevisnapuu, Adam Scianna and Danila Zhernov are sent out to help the goaltender keeps his nets clean.

The boats win the face-off and start passing the puck around, Van der Heijden to Reeves, back to Van der Heijden. Puck goes to Bisschoff, who passes to Reeves. Pass to Norris, who tries to find Bisschoff again,, but the pass is intercepted and Zhernov dumps it and goes for a change.
Cvitkovich retrieves the puck, and the Armada move the puck back into the zone. Mitchell van der Heijden gets hit by Noah Nystrom and loses the puck, but Cvitkovich finds the loose puck and keeps it in the zone. Biscchoff gets the puck and shoots, but it gets blocked by Notvotny. More shots follow, The Anchorage Armada pile on the pressure and are looking for an early lead again. Shots by Cvitkovich, Bisschoff, Wang, Norris, Van der Heijden and Wishy Woo Woo fail to surprise Del Vecchio though, and the power play ends without the puck entering the net. ![]() Registered Me go boats 01-05-2020, 05:07 PMgolden_apricot Wrote: of note:Bag skate for @"dylanjj37" tomorrow if he doesn't get any points tonight. ![]() ![]() Credit to Ml002, King, Wasty, Carpy, Bruins10, Rum_Ham, Turd Ferguson, Ragnar and Enigmatic for the sigs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Player page | Player updates ![]() ![]() Registered singing solo you can't hear him ![]() Registered singing solo you can't hear him
