Zhernov takes the loose puck off the end boards and sends it up to Novotny at center ice. Novotny to Nystrom who carries the puck over the blue line. He dumps the puck in so the knights can get fresh legs.

Start of play for the 3rd period here in Anchorage. We'll see if we can get this thing decided in regulation or if the Hockey gods will be blessing us with overtime this evening.

Vyskoc wins the faceoff for the Armada in his own zone. He passes up to Danny White.

Vyskoc is hit hard along the boards by Eriksson. He somehow keeps his feet and is able to receive a pass from White at center ice.
Vyskoc's pass is intercepted by Ranch as the Knights take control here early in the first.

Ranch tries to move the puck along but it's picked off by Danny White who moves it up to Bergstrom but his pass won't go through and the Knights have it again.

Eriksson pass up to Shepard who moves it back to Eriksson.

Pass to Shepard HE SHOOTS

Knights win the faceoff in their own zone. Barbashev sends the puck up to Novotny who TAKES A HUGE HIT from Bischoff and the puck is going to go all the way down for icing.

This game is starting to get more physical and you wonder what kind of impact these hits will have on the rest of this series.

Loose puck grabbed up by Luca Del Vecchio behind the Knights net.

He passes it on to Forestier who in turn moves it up to Bischoff.

Pass to Ker to Wang to van der Heijden who is tripped up...

It looks like the Armada are going to get another power play here. The call is 2 mins for tripping on Zhernov.

The Armada are 1/4 on power plays tonight.

7 Mins left in this third period tonight in what has been a thrilling beginning to what is surely to be a hard fought series.

Vyskoc wins the draw to open the power play. Bischoff gets control off the draw and takes a quick shot SAVED by Del Vecchio REBOUND and Del Vecchio SHUTS THE DOOR ON BISCHOFF AGAIN!! This time he covers up.

Armada win the faceoff again and set up in the Kelowna zone.

Schmackers to Kerr who bobbles the puck then settles it down.

He sends it down low to Bischoff who bounces it off the board to Vyskoc who gets off a shot but he's shut down by Del Vecchio.

Kelona wins the face-off in their own zone. Kaspertommevisnapuu dumps the puck down the ice.

The Anchorage powerplay will have to regroup now.

Schmackers picks up the loose puck and passes it up into the neutral zone to Wang

Wang dumps it into the Knights zone.

Picked up by Ryan Shepard. Shepard is DRILLED by Petrikov and coughs up the puck. Wang has it for Anchorage and passes it along the boards to Shelby Schmackers.

Schmackers looking for a seam pushes it back to Wang.

Wang to Petrikov who shoots but misses the net wide

Vyskoc picks it up to retain Armada control.

He takes a shot that trickles wide.

Petrikov picks up the puck behind the net and skates and turns at the blue line for another missed shot.

Petrikov battles behind the net for the free puck, wins the battle and wraps around the back of the net AND SCORES!!!!

Goal

Petrikov somehow snuck that puck in between the skate and the post and gave the Armada a 3-2 lead!
