The anthems have just concluded and we get set for the opening draw.

The starting lineup for British Isles is Halkias, Forty-One, and Roenick with Wolfe and Sarantez and of course the rookie sensation Doyle in net. DACH has Veccelli, Selman and Jones with Johnson and Zimmermann and McMahon in net.

DACH couldn't get anything going on that PP but still hold a 1-0 lead and have controlled this period so far, aside from the two minutes of penalty kill.

We are nearing halfway in the period and DACH is looking good.
