9 Minutes into the Third Period
After a big hit by Pokrywka on Aleksandr Scherbak, Padraig Sarantez passes to Herry Morris IV who dumps it into the Knight’s zone.
Scherbak retrieves the puck under pressure by Gaspard Boone. With a stick check gone wrong, Boone’s stick gets caught in Scherbak’s armpit. Play is whistled down by the ref, and the crowd is livid. Boone is going off for 2 minutes for High Sticking. What do you think of this one Craig?
This is an even-up call for sure Jim, and the crowd knows it. That ref better make sure he triple locks his hotel room tonight.

The pass is intercepted! Ryan Daly headmans the puck to Heikki Jaakola at centre, who steps across the red line and sends it deep. Prince Devitt retrieves the puck and sends a pass up ice. It’s intercepted by Phineas Gold, who flips it back into the zone. But it goes over the glass! That’s an automatic delay-of-game! Gold is sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes at 16:58 into the third period.
