Hello out there, we’re on the air, it’s hockey night tonight.
With Montreal, standing tall, can they sweep the Kelowna Knights?
As warm-up starts, our heads and hearts, are filled with a single aim:
On sharpened skates, we’ll defy the fates, at the good old Hockey Game.

Tah Puhcheese, takes the lead, halfway through the first,
And the crowd’s amazed, as Thorstrom saves, the Militia might be cursed.
The Knights fans pout, as luck runs out, Ricky Bobby scores a goal!
It’s overtime, Rykov sublime, MILITIA ON PATROL!

The special teams, are goal machines, Militia lead by one,
As the game gets rough, the weak get tough, and the pressure weighs a ton.

The clock runs down, Kelowna frowns, how will they survive?

Bobby Lane corrals the pass from Boone and rifles it up the boards. It’s picked up by Simon LeBlanc for Kelowna who headmans the puck to Tah Puhcheese but…

He has his pocket picked! Olin O’Dowd grabs the puck and flips it over the blueline to Boone. Boone carries it over centre ice and drops a pass for O’Dowd. O’Dowd steps into the Kelowna zone and passes across the ice to Bobby Lane. Lane centers it to Herry Morris IV who passes to Boone at the backdoor …

Boone can’t find an opening. He turns and sends it to Claude at the point, who crosses it to Lane, back to Claude, but it’s intercepted by Raquel Castillo Gutierrez! Breakout pass intercepted by Lane and Montreal are back on the offensive. O’Dowd carries the puck into the Knights zone and drops it for Morris at the blueline, who shoots it in deep. All 5 Militia head off for a line change.

It’s been a one-sided first minute, hasn’t it Craig?
Certainly Jim, it seems like the Kelowna Knights are still a little shell-shocked after losing two games at home. Let’s see if they can turn it around. There’s plenty of time left to mount some offensive pressure. I’ll be looking for team leaders like Horvat and Puhcheese to step up and rally the team.

Berg Svensen picks up a loose puck in the neutral zone. He sends a crisp pass into the Militia zone as Scherbak crosses the line. Scherbak crosses it to Prince Devitt, who shoots ..!

Blocked by Padraig Sarantez! The puck squirts off into the high slot where Svensen picks it up. He attempts to get it deep, but it’s intercepted by Zbigniew Pokrywka for Montreal. Pokrywka passes to Sarantez who carries it into Kelowna’s end.

Ricky Bobby picks up a loose puck deep in his own end. Breakout pass gets intercepted by Puhcheese streaking the other way. He passes to Simon Leblanc in Montreal’s zone. LeBlanc sends it back to Puhcheese, who drops it for Novotny. Novotny carries it deep and cuts behind the Militia goal. He floats a pass to the point where Raquel Castillo Gutierrez steps into a blistering slapshot …

Montreal are looking to get that one back as Hans Schweinsteiger picks off a pass in the Montreal zone. He sends a pass to Bobby Lane who’s rushing up the boards. Lane gains the zone, and passes to Morris. To Boone. Back to Morris. Morris passes to Lane on the short side. Lane shoots!
Stopped by Thorstrom. Morris picks up the rebound and passes across the crease to Lane with the wide open net. He shoots!

HOLY MOLY WHAT A GOALIE! An amazing save by Thorstrom!
These are the kinds of saves that Thorstrom is starting to get known for in this series, he kept his team in this one there for sure.
