Mia Landvik is skating the puck through the neutral zone as norway looks to reestablish their positioning inside the zone. She looks down briefly, but even that was too long as Mike Izzy steps up

And Mauls her.

Austria seems to finally be getting their offensive mojo together as they get the puck into the Norway end and take a couple shots on net, but nothing that ol’ Tommy Tuck doesn’t easily cover up with the mitt.

Austria is able to get another faceoff win as good ol’ JR Jon Ross has the puck on his tape and is skating towards the slot, but is absolutely demolished by Tor Tuck leaving the puck just sitting in the slot.

After tying this one up just about half way through the game, Austria settles back into their defensive nature as Norway continues to push and keep the puck in their end. Many Many missed shots on Norways end. And many good body checks by Austria, the remainder of teh second period is almost a blur as the action doesnt stop for minutes on end until we get a Tripping Minor.

Richard Physt assessed 2 minutes for Tripping while trying to protect the back side of the net, when in reality it was actually a 44 stick that tripped the man up.

Austria isn’t getting much offensive zone time in this second period, but the time that they did ge they made it count by tying up the game at 2-2 along with unloading shot after shot and actually putting them on net.
