THe Dragons waste no time getting into the wolfpacks zone and Pedersen fires a shot in to test Laukkanen early, but he gobbles up the attempt and allows no rebound.

The faceoff ensues a scrum but the Dragons retain control and it works around to Nuck who lets a shot go, but it's blocked by Granlund and it comes out of the zone.

Play is stuck between the blue lines for some time before the Wolfpack finally materialize and attack as Holmberg has the puck and skates it up the ice before being blasted by Gagner! But the puck continues to carry forward and Buckner grabs it and keep going and lets a quick shot go on Wong!

Stopped without a rebound.

The Wolfpack wins the ensuing faceoff and Granlund is then filled in by Luc Laflamme and coughs up the puck, but luckily for the wolfpack it doesn't materialize into a chance. Forbrook soon becomes a victim of Monkey as it's clear early this game will be physical. Maybe not enjoying the early pacing of the game, Landvik makes a point to lay and extra hit on a Dragons player who doesnt have the puck and is gone for 2 minutes for Interference.

3:51 of the 1st.
Shortly after the Faceoff, Randleman sees what already happening and proceeds to put down Makinen like a visit to the vet.

Play keeps pushing along as the Dragons try and generate some offense with the PP opportunity. Anrikkanen finally finds some room and lets it go!

It's WIDE RIGHT!, Johnson Stops the bullet coming around the boards, and wastes no time to fire it on the moving Laukkanen..

But he says NO.

Gagner grabs the rebound immediately, but Laukkanen covers up this time.

The Dragons do not stop though....as Clayton now falls victim to the physical play getting spayed and neutered by Laflamme cough up the puck. Laflamme takes the lose puck and shoots!

Laukkanen ain't want no rebounds in this house. He covers up.

Finally after a face off scrum and some board play the Wolfpack gain control and move up the ice. Buckner lets a shot go.

Wide.

Now Silverwing!
