Kelowna on the attack, itâ€™s Syrjanen down to Rielly, oh, he just got crunched there by Muller. The Mammoths have the puck now, moving up the ice, turnover to Werenski, and hold on, weâ€™ve got a whistle. Penalty coming up to Kelowna, the first of the game, and itâ€™s Leafer Rielly for hooking.

Coloradoâ€™s powerplay has been ice cold on this one so far, unable to get anything going, but hereâ€™s a shot from Zbynek!

Pad save by Thompson, and itâ€™s cleared down the ice by Kelowna. Muller back to pick it up, he fires a long stretch pass! Misses, it skipped right over the stick, and thatâ€™s an icing against Colorado on the powerplay. Larsson with a big win on the draw, Zbynek turns it over though, and now itâ€™s Knouse with a great opportunity!

Ooh, heâ€™s down. He took a high stick there from Rambo, and thatâ€™s the end of the powerplay.

Powerplays are over now, Just a minute to play here in the first period of a very back and forth game. Yvel dumps the puck into the Knights zone, and itâ€™s Rielly back to get it, heâ€™ll move it to Huber in the circle, and heâ€™s going to skate it out. Nice move there, and heâ€™s got some room! Dances his way into the Colorado zone, steps around the defender, shoots!

To no oneâ€™s surprise, he missed the net! It comes back to the line andddddd not out?! Wexter got there just in time, and heâ€™s going to fire a wrister towards the net!

He missed the net! Langabeer is on the loose puck in the corner, battles his way free, to the front of the net!

MULLER SAYS NO! He flattened Langabeer, and thatâ€™s going to do it for the first period.

Colorado used that faceoff to their advantage, theyâ€™ve got the early pressure. Lysczarczyk has it, over to Oâ€™Ryan, one-time shot!

Missed the net! Rambo jumps on that puck, and heâ€™s able to settle it down, for another shot!

Stopped by Thompson! Just 30 seconds in the Mammoths have had a couple good chances, one made itâ€™s way on net.
