Tonight is a do or die situation for the upstart Halifax Raiders who have surprised the hockey world with their effort in what many thought would be a series sweep for the powerful Montreal Militia.

While we wait for the game to start some interesting facts so far in the series is the Montreal only holds a slim 16-14 goals for lead in the series and the #1 goalie during the regular season Matt Lewis-Flood, as looked rather mediocre posting a .885 save percentage through 5 starts, while Richard C. Hocolate has posted a sparkling .912 save percentage and is a huge reason the Halifax Raiders are in this series considering he has faced 181 shots, to Matt Lewis-Floods 113.

Regardless this should an exciting match-up and we look forward to bringing it to you in just over a half an hour!</div>

Poussey wins the draw to Herzog. Herzog moves puck into the Militia zone. Pass to Aumeisters. Pass to Vontavious Porter. Pass to McCardle. Pass to Vontavious Porter. Pass to Aumeisters. Pass to Herzog.

Halifax has Montreal running in circles right now, but they need to get a shot on net!

Herzog looks and see’s Aumeisters cutting toward the net and dishes a saucer pass to the streaking winger…….

Uhaa passes it to Jackson Cartier who moves puck through center and into the raiders zone. Cartier then dumps into the corner as both teams go for a change.

Vontavious Porter retrieves the puck and tries to get it up the ice but that starts a couple minutes of poor passing by both teams

Over to William Hendrickson who shoots!

Xavier Laine dives in front of the puck and blocks the shot!!

The Raiders continue to apply pressure in the Montreal zone as Benjamin Fraser picks up the lose puck and shoots it on net, Jimybob Bam deflects the puck, but Matt Lewis â€“ Flood was in perfect position to stop the puck, but not without another rebound to Benjamin Fraser at the side of the net!

With more the five minutes gone in the period Halifax has come out strong, Montreal to this point has not recorded a shot on net and you can tell the Militia coaches are not happy with their players and leaving Lewis-Flood to make some incredible saves.

Montreal now looks more focused and wins the draw to Raven Silverwing, who bursts into the Halifax zone, making the defender stumble has she blows past him with her dazzling speed and shoots!!

OH!!! WHAT A SAVE BY Richard C. Hocolate!

Montreal now takes over the game as they start to assault Richard C. Hocolate with shots, which he continuously stops with brilliant save after brilliant save.

This same definitely seems to be going in the direction of a goalie showdown between the raining champion of the regular season Matt Lewis-Flood and the upstart Raiders netminder Richard C. Hocolate.

The frustration has started to set in for the Halifax Raiders who where doing so well to start the game, but Hal Hunter takes a careless High Sticking penalty and now the Militia are on the power play.

Montreal wins the draw, Silverwing has the puck, passes it to Gagner, back to Silverwing who moves down the boards and passes it back to Cartier who lets loose a blast from the point!!

Unfortunately, Montreal was not able to put anything together on that powerplay, but we have definitely seen a shift in the tide tonight as Montreal now leads the shot clock as well.

However, Halifax pushes back as Benjamin Fraser storms into the Militia zone and lets loose a shot from the point, which Matt Lewis-Flood kicks aside, but Ace McCardle jumps on the rebound and shoots!!

But Lewis-Flood holds on to that to call for a whistle, as the players push in front of him.

Oh its getting rough as Wesley Walls gets his mitts in the face of Taystee Poussey and the the Raiders come to her defense.

The linesmen break it up before it turns into something worst, but Wesley Walls get 2 for Roughing
