The faceoff is taken and the puck is with the Mammoths,

B.J. Subban passes it to Sludge, who moves it forward with an accurate pass to Tony Pellegrino, Pellegrino shoots the puck!

He scores! The Pepsi Center erupts once again as Tony Pellegrino does what seemed so out of reach and brings the Mammoths to within a single goal of the Impact. What a game we have on our hands tonight!

Thanks for joining us once again folks!

We've mere minutes left in the game's second period with the score locked at 4-3 as both teams desperately seek to gain an advantage in this series. Jhonas Ville has been peppered with a barrage of shots by the Impact but has managed to stop every one of them and keep his team in the game here as they trail by a single goal!

But now he's going to be called upon once again as the trio of Watson, Biznette and Lightning rush the puck into the Colorado zone, it's a 3 on 1!

Surely this is lights out for Colorado here?!

Ville has somehow managed to stop the puck from going in! What an effort Colorado's backup has delivered for them tonight, stopping all 13 shots he has faced to keep the Mammoths in the game!

And with that last bit of excitement, we're out of time here in the second period! We'll be back in a few minutes for the concluding period of this thrilling game!

Welcome one and all to an exciting game of Four Star Cup finals hockey!

So far we've seen a tense period with both teams trading shots on net as the Impact desperately look to extend their lead whilst the Mammoths are searching for a goal to tie up the game!

The Impact are making another charge on net here, the puck is with Riley McDonald. McDonald decides to shoot!

The puck just grazes the outside of the right post and rolls away, but it's picked up by Rowe who lays a gorgeous centering pass to Pablo Biznette, Biznette prods the puck on goal...

Mere minutes are left in the game here as the clock slowly runs down!

The score still stands at 4-3 to Montreal, but Colorado are throwing every last ounce of their grit and determination at the Impact. Backup goaltender Jhonas Ville has stopped all 16 of the shots he's faced, but will this performance be enough to get them the crucial game tying goal?

Sesugh Uhaa grapples with Potato Chips and catches him with a stray high stick!

He's heading to the box for two minutes and the Mammoths will get a vital late powerplay here!

Conway and Gagner go down to take the draw in the Impact zone with Colorado on the man advantage. This is an opportunity they need to capitalize on desperately!

Conway wins the faceoff. and plays it back to Subban who's moving restlessly on the point. Subban looks up and sees Oduya moving towards the net and plays a pass to him.

It's with Alphonse Oduya here, he moves in on goal, Lewis-Flood moves across his net to meet him...

But Oduya goes for the saucer pass over the sticks of the defensemen of the Impact to the awaiting Charlie Conway, who's driving to the net hard!

Conway gets his stick on it and Lewis-Flood throws his pad out! Who's going to get there first?!

And the game is tied! You can feel the arena shake as everyone in the building jumps up to celebrate their team pulling level against a seemingly insurmountable goal deficit. With just minutes left of regulation is this one going to be settled in overtime?!
