As we already know, the Knights have a real strong PK unit, led by Landvik.
Conway wins the face-off in the Knights' zone. The Mammoths cycle the puck over to Browski. Browski shoots... .... and misses the net! Ziggler retrieves the free puck and passes over to Flow, who dumps the puck into the Mammoths' zone to get their change.

Chips retrieves the free puck and passes to Kristoffer Ruud in the neutral zone. Ruud moves to puck back into the Knights' zone, putting the Mammoths pack into position. They're hungry, but the Knights are tough. Their penalty kill is one of the best in the league.
Ruud passes over to Mikita. Over to Pellegrino. Back to Ruud. Over to Mikita. They just can't find an opening!

Not sure which of these teams I would rather face in the finals, both look pretty strong

The home crowd is going crazy here in Denver! After a close start to the series, the Mammoths are proving why they finished first in their conference and second in the league!
Brannan and Pecker take the neutral zone face-off. Brannan wins it for the Knights. They cycle the puck, but McDavid's pass is intercepted by Stromberg. Lucky for the Knights, Stromberg ices the puck and the face-off returns to the Mammoth's zone.

Chamas wins the face-off against Pecker, but the Knights can't keep control. Pecker gets the puck back and moves it up the ice. He passes over to Carson Shmyr, who moves the puck into the Knights' zone.
Shmyr shoots... ... and misses the net! The Knights try to carry it out of the zone, but Chamas is called off-sides!

The Knights have face-off control of this period, but can't seem to hang onto the puck long enough to make any offense happen!
Subban ices the puck, something he's done quite a bit this game, and the face-off moves to the Mammoths' zone. Lundberg wins it cleanly, but once again can't keep possession! Luckily for the Knights, the Mammoths seem to be struggling with accuracy as well. This game is starting to get physical, folks, with big hits from both Rossberg and Subban to try and take possession of the puck. Chips wins the face-off in the Knights' zone against Brannan, and Browski has the puck. He passes to Ruud. Over to Pellegrino. They move it back and forth trying to find an opening... |
