The Impact currently have a stranglehold on the series, leading Detroit by 3 games to 1, and needing just 1 win to move on to the finals, and it could come here tonight.


However, Detroit will not go down without a fight!

Rising Hippo has really stepped up his play, scoring at a point per game pace since the playoffs started. Another man who has really stepped up, is Justin Novastar who is playing 3rd line defensive pairing minutes, and yet is 2nd in scoring on this team. Look for players like Gunnar Rask to step here tonight with his whole season on the line.

Detroit re-gains possession in the corner, it’s Rask with the puck, he sends it around the boards to Odergaard, he centres it Lehner gets a stick on it!

MLF Stops it and hangs on!

The power play continues and it’s Jarvinen who wins the draw, there’s a delayed penalty on the play, Hippo gets the puck and wrists one on MLF, who stops it clean, but in doing so stops the play and we hear the refs call.

stopped by MLF, Rask is back on the ice, and he picks the up from Odergaard, Rask circles the net, finds Novastar pinching, he shoots!

Stopped by MLF! He is standing on his head right now! The first penalty is over, but the pressure i still on, Lehner gets the puck to the point, its Federov who sends it down deep to Odergaard, he rips a quick one, stopped, rebound Rask!
