Right after Manhattan's goal, Hamilton takes another minor and puts their fire powerplay back on the ice.

However, Hamilton's penalty kill finally shows up and holds Manhattan to one shot on goal over that entire powerplay.

Just after killing that penalty, Hamilton takes another minor penalty, this time a holding minor to Caboose.

Manhattan opens up this powerplay with a slapshot from Stinson... but it goes well wide and Creller must gather the puck. He views his options and chooses to shoot himself...

However, that shot also goes wide and Hamilton has two solid and successful penalty kills in a row

As the 2nd period comes to a close, Merica takes a bad hooking minor and gives Hamilton a great opportunity to come within one goal of Manhattan.
