The next minute goes by with some more good chances, but Winnfield’s getting caught in his own zone. He gets called for cross-checking. Edmonton’s got a chance to try and get back in the game.
Despite Scherbluk getting thrown out of the face-off dot, Vilemenietis still wins the draw. He wins it back to Rogers-Tanaka he passes it quickly back to Vilemenietis who’s in front of the net. He turns and shoots.
Rose’s standing tall tonight with another save. Vilmenietis gets to the rebound though. He taps the puck diving as he tries to score. Rose with the quick legs kicks that one out and he covers it. The crowd here is stunned.
Scherbluk wins the face-off after a great chance, but that’s it for the powerplay as they don’t get nothing going after that.
Edmonton’s working hard trying to get momentum with 10 minutes and 51 seconds left in the third. Vikstrand tries a shot, but that’s wide. Longford chases it behind the net. He picks it up and he tries a wrap-around. Rose’s focused stopping that with the pad.
Berger wins the face-off to the right of Rose. Longford’s set up for the shot behind. Longford shoots of the face-off. Bodnar kicks that one out with the block. It deflects off of him and the puck rolls to Kane. He gets a great chance, he shoots top corner. Rose flashes the glove.
Winter wins the face-off and Seattle’s quickly out of their zone just like that with their breakout passes as Koskinen makes a tape to tape pass onto King’s stick. King’s moving down the right side he shifts to the slot. He takes a shot.
Müller blocks that with his leg, but it bounces off of his leg back to King. He tries another quick shot. Aittokallio reacts quickly with a glove save.
Edmonton gets a couple chances as momentum shifts to their side, but Rose continues to shut the door. The face-off’s to the right of him. Leonidas wins it and Seattle’s out again with the breakout passes. It’s from Pomery’s stick to Leonidas’ stick. He streaking down the right side. He tries a low shot.
Aittokallio kicks that out, but the juicy rebound goes to King. He tries to tap it into the open net, but he taps it right onto Aittokallio’s sliding pad. Aittokallio covers it.

The crowd here’s stunned and quiet. This isn’t what they were expecting.
