Scherbluk wins the face-off and Edmonton continues their pressure. The team’s cycling low trying to wear down the defenders, but they miscommunicate and Peter Parker steals the puck, but he ices it as he’s tired.

Another face-off in Seattle’s zone. Winter wins it this time. The puck’s back to Koskinen he moves it up ice to Flamel he’s streaking down the right side he enters the zone. He throws it to Bursyuk who’s speeding down the slot and he’s in behind both defenders. He’s all alone. Bursyuk winds then he shoots!

*PING* Oh, that’s off the post. Flamel picks it up behind the net he throws it around the boards. Winter catches it. He shoots, but Berger slides to block that one. Seattle continues to pressure Edmonton as Brojled holds the puck at the point. He shoots, but Aiittokallio tracks it down. It hits him right in the chest and he holds it.

King wins the face-off in the neutral zone, but it’s Edmonton who intercepts it after Koskinen gets flattened by Keenan. Keenan picks up the puck. Now, they’re off to the races. Keenan’s skating fast, but Koskinen with young legs catching up. Keenan takes a shot, but Koskinen gets a stick on it.

Vikstrand gets it at the boards. He throws it on net, but that’s wide. Kane finds it and he’s at the face-off dots. He fires it low. Berger re-directs it.

Rose looks to be down as he tries to react to the re-direction, but he gets to it with a stick save.

Urobowics wins the face-off and the game brings out emotions as the hits pile up.

Scherbluk wins the face-off to the right of Aittokallio. Off the face-off, Rogers-Tanaka moves the puck up ice to Longford who passes it to Scherbluk moving into the zone. Scherbluk shoots it 30 feet out, Rose makes the stop.

There’s not much that occurs besides off-sides and icings for the next minute, but Vlaters did manage to get a shot on net. However, Aittokallio turned that one aside.

Berger wins the face-off pushing Winter from the draw, but Winter fights back and hits him. As the two fight the puck’s back to Bodnar. He quickly wrists it from the point. Aittokallio catches it.

Scherbluk wins the face-off to the right of Aittokallio. Edmonton can get a breather as they dump the puck out of their zone. However, Seattle’s quickly back on the attack. Brojled’s leading the way as he’s pinching offensively. He fires from the slot throwing it on net. Aittokallio kicks that one out to a speeding attacker, Chuck Winnfield.

Aittokallio slides across to make a brilliant pad save. His defenders come sprawling in to keep the puck out and put it under him. A scrum ensues. The whistle’s blown and the play’s called dead. Seattle doesn’t generate anything for the rest of the powerplay.
