We've got ourselves a game now, West Kendall holds a one-goal lead with half a period to play! Pettyfer breaks into the Rage zone, and takes a low shot that is kicked away by James. It took eleven minutes for the Platoon to get their first shot of the period, Schmidt has been their saviour this period!

It caught Schmidt off-guard but he kicks it away! Merica gets the rebound but Schmidt stays with him and covers up.

After the draw, Arrowny lets a quick shot go, off the blocker of Schmidt. THERE'S A LOOSE REBOUND AT THE SIDE OF THE NET, SCHMIDT LOST SIGHT OF IT...

And the Platoon defense is there to clear it away. However, captain Biscuit takes a slashing penalty with two and a half minutes left! Bad timing for a penalty here, especially since the Rage already have one powerplay goal in this period.
