We're back in Florida for the fifth game of the SHL's Eastern Conference Finals, as the home Platoon look to fight against elimination as the visiting Rage hold a 3-1 series lead.


This series has been a lot closer than the 3-1 lead would suggest, as every game has been decided by one goal! Here is a recap of what has happened thus far:

The puck is dropped to begin the game, and Tommy Creller wins it for the Rage, but they go offside. After the ensuing faceoff, Ivo Willems feeds John Heimer-Schmidt, HE'S IN ALL ALONE JUST 30 SECONDS INTO THE GAME...

But C.J. James calmly gloves down the shot.

The Rage turn the momentum around, and force Schmidt to turn aside shots from Creller, Valentine and Bayer-Holtby.

Cunningham brings the puck up through the middle but he gets rocked by Ludvigsen and Arrowny picks up the loose disc. THE SHADOW SPLITS THE WEST KENDALL DEFENSE AND SHOOTS...

Lloren goes to pick up the rebound, but he gets a stick in the face from Daniel Merica! West Kendall gets the first powerplay of the game.
