Thanks! I really wanted Nylander with that second 1st rounder, but the Habs took him with the pick before it. Still though, Honka, Draisatl, and Dal Colle was a pretty good haul. One of the European guys I randomly picked in the late rounds has 3.5 stars too, so he could be a sleeper.

In a couple of seasons, someone could be out of a job :ph34r:

So I was just offered these three trades:

#1:

To HAR:

D. Sharpizyanov
2 AHL players (one 1st liner, one healthy scratch)

#2:

To HAR:
J. Thornton (Regression hit him hard, dropped to 86 OVA)

To SJ:
M. Dal Colle
Random AHL Player

#3:

To HAR:
P. Elias

To NJD:
2015 1st (HAR)
2015 2nd (HAR)


This is a young competitive team, not a retirement home for aging NHL stars! So I said no to all 3.

I also signed a few guys (Justin Peters, Paul Ranger, Matt D'Agostini) to sub-$1mil contracts to fill out the AHL team (I let a bunch of aging vets go).

Also signed Vladimir Sobotka for 1.1 to play on the 4th line instead of Upshall.

Most of the contracts are short term so they won't get in the way when I have to resign everyone.

Since NHL 14 gives created players 3 year contracts by default, 2017-18 is going to be... interesting to say the least.

Pre-season later today.

Sorry for the delay, but the pre-season is simmed.

Our record:
6-0-1

The only game we lost was 3-2 to Ottawa in OT. Teal took a game misconduct near the end of regulation and they scored 46 seconds into OT. Stats and the rest of the scores will be up later today.

Been swamped this week but it should be updated more regularly over the weekend.

I'm surprised Bazely and Lussier couldn't get more PIMS. They need to put more effort into playing dirty.

Poor Seabreeze can't seem to get a win :(

Ottawa ruined our playoff run and our undefeated streak. Rivalry anyone?
