Laukkanen manages to grab that shot, despite a deflection from Randy Randleman, and the Dragons send their top line out for the draw. Kurczewski comes out and wins the draw, but the Berezin pressures him quickly, and Makinen collects the puck to move out of the zone. Makinen gets in on the Dragons defense, but finds a shooting lane to get one through...

Triple Overtime

The 3rd overtime period opens up with some sloppy play. Within 2 minutes the Dragons are sending New England back to the powerplay, after Joe Kurczewski takes an interference penalty. The Wolfpack actually spend the first bit of the powerplay icing the puck, and failing to get setup in the Calgary zone. When they do finally get setup, they take turns missing the net: first Dubois, then Landvik and Green as well. A frustrated Dubois gets a beautiful opening though, and makes no mistake firing this toward Hocolate...

The New England Wolfpack are throwing everything they can at the Calgary Dragons, but Hocolate is standing tall. There has been significantly more pressure from NEW in the 3rd overtime, but following one of the Dragons' chances there is a faceoff in the NEW zone. Green comes up with the win, but gets leveled by Izzy as a reward. Izzy makes a pass over to Casey Creller, but Green is up now and he gets his revenge by knocking Creller off the puck. Creller follows Green though, and returns the favour with a hit of his own. A crowd starts to form around these two, and pushing and shoving follows. The play is still going though, and Spitfire takes a pass from Patrikov Bure... he shoots... WIDE! Patrikov Bure recovers the puck though, and gets a shot on goal...
