I have no idea how this game is still 1-0, but I’m sure that if the Platoon could they would have six Colin Schmdit’s out there right now. As it is they have Szlerchek on the ice and on the puck, and he looks to set Willems away! Stropko tries to dispossess him as he heads for the net!

6th minute
That second Platoon goal has really hit the Jets for six, and it’s all West Kendall now, as they look to put this game to bed. Winnipeg’s only saving grace these last few minutes has been Lauris Prikulis and some dogged, physical defending. Birkavs tries to get a shot off but can’t, and the puck is loose in front of the net! Pettyfer with the chance!!

90 seconds gone in the power play, and only the one shot so far for Prikulis to deal with. The Jets win possession in their own zone, but they can’t clear the blue line. Birkavs passes to Lloren in front of the net!

That could be the nail in the coffin as far as Winnipeg are concerned. The Platoon are twelve minutes away from taking this to a Game 6! They still have a man advantage as well, and they’re now pushing for a fourth. Wert looks to shoot—fakes!
