Ford picks up the loose puck and passes to Kirkby who plays a buddy pass to Zhang and Lockheart is there to take Zhang out. Bad pass from Kirkby led to a possible career ending injury to Zheng.

Ensuing faceoff won by the Swedes and they quickly move to the British end. Primeau moves it to Krash. Krash sees a lane and fires… but its blocked by Bergen. The puck is picked up by the British and the other way it goes.

What a way to have an attack fizzle out as the Swedes regain the puck and get it deep. MacIntyre picks up the puck and passes to Slothface, who is leveled by Fantobeans! That hit might help the Swedes wake up a bit in this one, as the period fizzles out shortly there after we end period 1, 2-0 Team Great Britain.

Welcome back to the second period of the Gold Medal game. The teams are set and the puck is dropped, and the draw is won by Wagstrom. The Swedes dump it deep but the Brits gain possession. Team GB works it out and dump in it in to Sweden’s end. The Swedes regroup and do the same. That was a fun first minute.

This time, Sweden is able to get the lose puck and they work it around. Passamus, and Ibrahimovich jr. go back and forth, then to Krash, then back to Passamus who sees Primeau, who shoots… deflected….
