S45 WJC BRONZE MEDAL: Russia vs. Sweden
#31

Russia hasn’t been able to get much going on this power play, here’s Passamus clearing the zone with a dump as the clock winds down on the man advantage. O’Koivu-Volkova plays it to Kolesnikov, who quickly shuffles it to Scherbak. Scherbak sees Evans, the man of the hour, the pass, the slapshot!

Welcome back for the third period, Mister McCarty wins the faceoff against David Fantobens, we are underway. Will Sweden hang on for the bronze medal? They shared the bronze medal in Season 42 in this tournament as part of Team Scandinavia, this one they could claim all their own.
