Lasst game it were the Armada who opened the score with two unanswered goals, tonight it's the other way around. Josef Novotny's second goal of the game gives Kelowna the 2-0 early in the second period.

Mitchell van der Heijden intercepts a pass by Josef Novotny, and moves the puck to Daniel Bischoff. Bischoff skates the puck into the Kelowna knights zone and passes back to Van der Heijden. The puck goes to Schmackers, and back to Bischoff again. Alex Ranch delivers a check the Bischoff, who miraculously holds on to the puck and passes to Van der Heijden. Van der Heijden and McSquirelly battle for the puck at the boards, and Van der Heijden suddenly loses the puck as he droops his stick and his face. The referee has his arm up, and as soon as Kelowna touches the puck play is blown dead and Luke McSquirelly takes his second penalty of the night and his to serve two minutes for high sticking.

The team doctor comes onto the ice to check Van der Heijden, but he appears to be ok.

The Armada bring out Reeves, Petrikov, Kerr, Primeau and Wang for the power play, with Shepard, Kaspertommevisnapuu, Zhernov and Scianna trying to shut them down for Kelowna.

Reeves wins it to Petrikov. Petrikov moves it to Wang on the blue line. Reeves, Kerr and Primeau get shots off, but fail to beat Del Vecchio.

Wang retrieves the puck on the blue line, and lines up for a slap shot. Del Vecchio stops it, but the rebound lands right in front of Jake Primeau, who doesn't hesitate, shoots and....

Less than a minute to go in the second period. Since the 2-1 we haven't seen a lot of fireworks. A cheap call on Hanson gave Kelowna a second power play attempt, but they only got one shot off and that one went way wide of the net. A lot of turnovers, dumps and icings followed.

Danila Zhernov has the puck in the neutral zone now, can Kelowna score another one in the dying seconds of this period? His pass to the far blue line is intercepted by Jake Primeau, and he skates it back into his own zone and lets the last seconds tick off the clock.

We end the second period with a 2-1 lead for the Kelowna Knights, here in Anchorage. The home team will need to come up with a strong game plan for the third period if they want to keep their lead in the series.

Shepard wins the opening face-off again. Eriksson has the puck and passes to Vessot. Vessot looks for Kaspertommevisnapuu and finds him. Kaspertommevisnapuu takes a wrist shot, but Venables catches and holds it.

Forestier dumps the puck into the Armada zone and goes for a change. Venables skates out of his crease to play the puck and passes it to Danny White. Shepard intercepts White's pass, but loses the puck again to Schmackers. Shepard tries to correct his mistake, but trips Schmackers and has to serve a minor penalty.

The Armada set up their power play, Mitchell van der Heijden wins the face-off, and the boats start firing shots at Del Vecchio. Hanson retrieves the puck after a missed shot by Augustus Wang and goes for the wrap around. Del Vecchio moves post-to-post...

That wraparound by Stan Hanson in the last few seconds of the power play ties the game. We have a 2-2 game, with still 14 minutes left to play in the 3rd period.
