We jump back in, halfway through the second period. Denver Wolfe has just been crushed against the glass by Conrad Farrell. There has been no stoppage, as it was a clean hit, but the Raptors’ bench has taken exception.

A few words are exchanged as Kane takes the ice, offering Farrell a light shimmy of the gloves. Farrell doesn’t take the bait.
Kane releases an incredible cross check to Farrell’s forearm, who slashes him back in the shins before skating away. The refs warn Kane not to pursue it further, but its too late.
