After a tentative start, we find ourselves a minute or so in as the Pack dump the puck into the Calgary zone. The puck is picked up by Casey Creller for the Dragons, who finds Hunter Jones in the neutral zone.
Jones moves into the New England zone…
He sees an opening and shoots!
But no good as he misses the net! Loose puck is picked up by the Pack’s Isaac Kaiser and moved out of the zone.

In the next bit of action, we find the Dragons entering the New England zone, through Boychuk, but he is up ended by Hohenberg’s stick and the Dragons will be going on the first powerplay of the evening!

Green wins the face off for the Wolfpack, but is quickly knocked off the puck by Joe K, but the loose puck is picked up by Landvik and dumped into the Calgary zone. The Dragons pick up the puck and try to enter the Pack zone, but to no avail as Linna is called for off-side and we restart in neutral ice.
After nearly two minutes of little to no action while on the powerplay, the Dragons are clearly annoyed and...
Mike Izzy with a bad slash on Dubois and as the Dragons’ powerplay ends, they put the Pack on the advantage!

In short, no. New England matches Calgary’s poor powerplay as both only managed one shot a piece on the consecutive powerplays.
We catch up to the action in the 12th minute of action, as the Dragons enter the New England zone through Linna.
Linna finds Kurczewski, Kurczewski finds Driftwood, who begins the cycling in the New England zone.
Linna recieves the puck with an open shot on Laukkanen! Linna shoooootttttssss…
But misses the net! Loose puck is picked up by Kurczewski, who shoots!

Our next bit of action is a few minutes later, Spitfire picks up a loose puck for New England as they try to get out of their own zone. Spitfire finds Dubois in the neutral zone, and Dubois finds a way into the Calgary zone.
Dubois to Gotze, who finds Spitfire, who moves the puck to Isaac Kaiser.
Kaiser is hit by Kaiser and the puck is loose! Dubois picks up the loose puck and finds Isaac Kaiser as he gets up from the hit and is wide open!
