We're nearing the end of the first period now. It's another Conway vs. Brannan face-off in the Knights end. Conway wins it too David Dvorak who immediately draws back and shoots. Bjornsson stretches and is about to cover it when a defender's skate gets in the way and pushes the puck between his legs.

Goal

The Mammoths are now up 4-1! Dvorak is credited with the goal! Goal

We can now see that the defender was Jukka-Emil Vanaja.

It's right at the end of the period now, with less than two minutes left. The Knights have been in the Mammoths end for the past two minutes playing triangle pass, but their shot was stopped by the Mammoths and theirs now a face-off. Conway beats Lundberg again, and the Mammoths are on the attack. Conway sends it Jaxson, who spills into the offensive end.

The Mammoths set up, and Jaxson sends a pass to Pellegrino. Pellegrino shoots the puck, and it finds a whole in the side of the net.

The Mammoths are dominating! 5-1 Colorado! Goal

Nearing the middle of the 2nd period now, and Dickie Pecker wins the faceoff versus Niall Brannan in the Mammoths end. Pecker attempts to skate down the side of the boards, bus gets nailed by Denis Lever. Lever attempts a cross ice pass, but its unsuccseful and is intercepted by Dickie Pecker. Pecker sends it to Shmyr who lines up to shoot. He throws it on net, and the puck goes in!

Goal

Shmyr scores! Goal

Oh wait! The goal buzzer came on too early! The referee had a penalty on the call! Browski ran through and pushed Mikke Laukkanen just as the shot went in! The goal has been called off for goaltender interference!

Potato Chips and Denis Lever are lined up in the neautral end shortly after that penalty ended. Chips wins the face-off, and Pellegrino recovers it. Their is a quick scuffle, but Pellegrino breaks out with the puck!

He takes a shot, but it misses the net and bounces back. He winds up and shoots again....

Pellegrino's shot goes in! Goal

The puck is against the boards at the end of the period. Charlie Conway has the puck, and is moving up the boards. Brannan attempts to make a check, but misses as Conway sidesteps. Conway walks into the Knights end and makes a solid attempt at a shot. It hits a stumbling Knight in the arm and goes into the back of the net!

Tony Flow wins the third period's opening face-off versus Sim Browski. He skates around in the neautral zone but looses the puck, and Browski takes it. He moves towards the Knights end, but Jaxson goes offside and the play is stopped.

*Leaving us with no goalie but that doesn't matter because we're killing*

Now Brannan beats Conway at the dot, and tries to flip the puck down ice. Conway stops him and moves into the Knights end with the puck. He shoots the puck, and it hits the boards. The puck bounces back, crosses the blueline just too late for Ruud to stop and he accidentally knocks the puck back in for another offside.

Kyle LeBlanc wins the face-off versus Dickie Pecker at the blueline. He moves forward with it, but Pecker stops him. The Mammoth player turns around and fires it at the net...

The puck went in! Goal

Pecker turns around and points at LeBlanc. He makes a face and laughs before his teammates join him in celebration.

The current goal tending just isn't cutting it for the Knights, so Bjornsson is back in net.
