Second Period

The second period opens with a bang as Clayton unloads on Ignant Ogorodnikov, and it looks like we’re in store for more physical hockey. The Impact have 64 seconds of a power play to kill, though, and the first chance of the period falls to Frederic, as he draws a save from the excellent Ciarelli.

Gan and Ogorodnikov both try their luck but miss the net, before Conall MacLeod looks to snipe one from a tight angle.























Tie game! Conall MacLeod with his fourth goal of the playoffs, levels it for the Raiders!

Tomas Kuma draws another a save from Ciarelli as we resume 5v5 hockey, and then it’s back to playing the body. Clayton Fuller must have pissed someone off, but damn it if he isn’t persistent.

Closing in on the end of period buzzer, the scores are still tied at two. Fälk looks to break the tie with a shot—it’s deflected by Burch!
