Almost immediately after tying the game, Manhattan takes another penalty and gives Hamilton a chance to regain the lead.

But Manhattan's penalty kill is on point tonight, and is able to clear it twice. With 20 seconds left in the powerplay, Hamilton has yet to get a shot on net until Clitsome snaps one on net... but that is easily saved by James and this powerplay comes to nothing.

As the period comes to a close, this game continues to be back and forth hockey. Webb shoots one on net but that is saved by James. Creller heads the other way and shoots one on the rush towards Tanner, but that is also saved.

And that brings our first period to an end, with our score still at 1-1.

And now for the start of our second period. Almost immediately after Simons wins the faceoff, Muerto instigates a fight with Stinson and they drop their gloves!

They fight to a draw, and each get fighting majors. Muerto is also getting an instigator major! And the refs are sending Muerto to the locker room!

Only a couple minutes later Nuck gets a minor penalty for slashing and the Rage are back on the powerplay!

Krivokrasov gets the puck after a faceoff win and chooses to shoot... but its blocked by DuJardin! Krivokrasov gets the loose puck and shoots again..

However that shot goes wide. Ludvigsen gets this loose puck and shoots himself....

Manhattan continues to pressure hard as their second line takes the ice. A little later than 7 minutes into the period Mikhail Krivokrasov takes a shot on net.. but it easily goes wide. Ochocinco gets the loose puck and shoots...

That goes well wide and Krivokrasov gets the loose puck in the high slot, and then choose to shoot stick side..
