Creller sweeps the puck out wide to Merica. Merica carries it past the center line and dumps it for the Rage team to chase. Constantine picks it up behind the net but loses control of it. Bojo picks it up and lifts it up out of the zone! Pettyfer contains the puck, Valentine goes for the hit and misses, Pettyfer dishes it to Ratzon, Ratzon carries it into the Rage zone, Razin cuts of the center lane, Ratzon gets to the faceoff dot and fires a shot short side!

Saved! James contains the rebound and we have a faceoff in the Rage zone.

Both teams change lines and we have our first look at the 2nd units. John Heimer-Schmidt lines up against Armin Brovalchuk. Brovalchuk drops to one knee to try to clear the puck but Schmidt is able to stop the forward progress, he dishes it back Ivo Willems on the point. Willems winds up and fires a slap shot! Kick save by James! He can't control the rebound and it bounces out to Bryson Thomaz!!! Thomaz wrists it!

GLOVE SAVE BY JAMES! The Platoon look focused, they are putting on pressure that the Rage cannot counter right now!

Another line change as the teams put their 3rd line out on the ice.

Szlerchek is thrown from the dot and we have Cunningham step in opposite Wong to take the draw. Wong wins the draw and it squirts out to Merica.



WOW! Huge hit by Szlerchek and Merica goes tumbling to the ice, the rest of the Rage take exception to that hit and we have a scuffle. I'm not sure what just happened but Szlerchek is on the ice clenching his face.

Lets see if we can catch what caused that.



Looks like he got clipped by a high stick. Looks like we might not get a call out of this, West Kendall's coach is livid! The West Kendall team lobbies to the refs and it looks like they may have got this call right afterall. The ref escorts Bayer-Holtby off the ice and the Platoon will get the first powerplay of the game.

Szlerchek squirts some water on his face and gets right back out on the ice to take another draw. He lines up opposite Brovalchuk in the Rage zone to start the powerplay. Brovalchuk wins the draw and dishes it to Goody who tries to clear! Stopped at the line by Willems. Willems corrals the puck and fakes a shot. He finds an open lane to Pettyfer on the door step!!! Pettyfer shoots!

OFF THE CROSSBAR!!!!! Anderson looks to the heavens and slams his stick on the ice. The puck goes out of play and we have a faceoff in the neutral zone.

Brovalchuk wins the draw against Pettyfer in the neutral zone. The penalty expires and VBH is out of the box. Brovalchuk dishes it to Whisonant. Whisonant carries it into the West Kendall zone, he passes it to Brovalchuk who's pressured immediately by Willems. He gets a shot off but it's wide of the net. It takes a funny bounce!!!

Whisonant is out front, it bounces right to him!!! Schmidt doesn't know where it is! Whisonant shoots!
