The game would continue with a few back and forth Neutral zone plays but nothing crazy. Vancouver would be the first to break into and set up in the offensive zone. The puck was cycled well and they slowly wore down the Regina defense. James Marushin finally got to the puck and tried to just clear it out of the zone but with a bad bounce and a puck roll the whistle would blow for an icing. The tired Regina Defense would have to stay strong.
