We go to just past the 4 minute mark in the period as Kelowna are once again on the attack as Kaspertommevisnapuu intercepts a pass by Vyskoc.

He passes up to Shepard who enters the Armada zone and skates around with the puck.

Once his team crosses the blue line he fires a slap shot that goes just wide of the net before being picked up by Scianna.

     

The Knights cycle the puck before it is picked off by Norris who brings it over the blueline.


Norris goes to pass but it's taken by Eriksson and forwarded to Shepard as the Knights are once again on the attack.

     

Kelowna moves the puck around until it gets to Kaspertommevisnapuu who charges the net and slips his defender.

He fires a shot that misses the net but pops up right in front as he's all alone on Venables.

He grabs the puck and goes top shelf...........

     

But Venables glove is too quick and he snatches it out of thin air like dog catching a frisbee.

     

As we approach the 9 minute mark of the 1st period we see both teams trading interceptions in the neutral zone until Primeau brings it into the Knights Zone.

He gets pinned to the boards as both teams fight for the puck.

     

It finally ends up on Petrikov's stick as the Armada are on the attack

Petrikov passes to Primeau who loses the puck in a rush towards the net.



It's picked up by Wang and passed back to Primeau who takes a shot......

     

It's turned aside by Del Vecchio as the puck rolls into the side boards.



Puck is picked up by Kerr who see's Petrikov across the ice

Petrikov winds up as the pass sails across the ice. He makes contact and rips one towards the net......
