As I'm sure you know activity with these be a GM's died out for quite a while, but it seems to be back. While I could revive my Blackhawks one (which is still a possibility for the future) I wanted to do something different, and with MLB 13 The Show recently coming out along with the fact that I'm a pretty big baseball fan I decided to a MLB Be a GM (or franchise as it's called in the game).

My team will be the Chicago Cubs because 1)it would be nice to win a World Series with a team known for futility. and 2)they are the team I root for, even with all of said futility.

I'll try to keep each season to a post beginning with Spring Training and ending with the offseason.
