I've considered turning them off, but in the 10ish be a GMs I've played I've had 2 good waiver pickups, most of the guys are 35+ year old bottom pairing d-men or 4th line grinders. Either that or 2.5 star potential young guys, both are really guys I wouldn't take a flyer on. In on be a GM I was able to claim Keaton Ellerby in the first year when he still had lots of potential and in the other one I'm playing on my own (about 12 years in I think) I was able to get Bouwmeester in (I think) the second year (and honestly his contract is pretty bad) so really it hasn't been that crazy.
