Line 1: Frolik/Toews/Kane

I'm going to keep this line together until their contracts are up. (Kane's expires after the 19-20 season, Toews a year after that, and Frolik a year after that.) I'm going to have to make some tough decisions regarding them, but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy their presence on my first line.

Line 2: Sharp/McNeill/Hossa

Yup, the line that I had the best chance of trading last season is still together. Both Sharp and Hossa are free agents next year though, and barring some sort of run like early last season I expect to move them both.

Line 3: Shaw/Walch/Hayes

I think all of these guys still have potential left (I know Walch does for sure) but if I end up trading away Hossa and Sharp and don't get second line talent in return, Hayes and Shaw will probably find their way up to the second line.

Line 4: Volek/Dowling/Smith

Meh, that's about it. Smith is done with potential, I only brought him back to give a few of my younger guys time to grow, I doubt he'll have a spot other than injury replacement next season.

D-Pair 1: Keith/Leddy

Both Keith/Leddy and Seabrook/Hjalmarsson played very well last season, why break up a good thing?

D-Pair 2: Seabrook/Hjalmarsson

D-Pair 3: Lehtivuori/Glebov

Lehtivuori could be moved to give a spot to Siemens. I'm also considering moving Keith, his contract is up after this year and then I can also bring up Morrow.

Goalies: Crawford/Simpson

Simpson increased to 77 from last season, one more year of progression and I feel like he can be a solid starter. Crawford is on a one year deal so I may move him depending on how we play and if the right deal comes along.
