As many as six teams were in the running for Barker but he accepted Smyl's offer $4.25 Mil for the next six seasons. Barker has had a bumpy career with many teams but Smyl still thinks that there is some room for improvement with Barker still. Barker will be playing on the second pairing alongside Kevin Klein. "This is the only move that we will be making heading into the season opener in Detroit. I know that Cam is going to be great in Nashville and I look forward to his debut Friday," Smyl said. Rookie Ryan Ellis was sent down to AHL affiliate, Milwaukee for a season of development.</li> my posts Reply
