Welcome back to the SHL! With the Trade Deadline (TDL) approaching, you can either have your player approved now or after the TDL. By being approved now, you will be able to do things like PT's, rookie tasks, and deep dives without having to wait until they are available for the class of S70 recruits. You'll be a bit behind on TPE compared to the rest of the current S69 class, but you'll have access to Catch-Up TPE that makes up a good chunk of the TPE opportunities that have already passed. On the flip side, if you elect to be approved post-TDL, you won't be able to partake in activities outside of weekly trainings and activity checks, but will have the opportunity to not miss out on any potential TPE once activities become available for the S70 class. You would still be able to join a team as a Draftable Free Agent (DFA) once approved and would leave that team once the season is done to enter the SMJHL draft.

In a nutshell, being approved now gives you a bit more than 3 seasons in the SMJHL and immediate access to TPE activities, whereas waiting will give you a potential full 4 seasons but limit your access to TPE activities until next season.
