Obviously a lot of former and current teammates involved in this, and many of these players have played together in the past together on WJC teams. No love will be lost and no quarter will be given during the game though, this is a national rivalry with a gold medal and a great deal of pride at stake.

Ireland has won the majority of the recent encounters between these two teams, but they struggled somewhat in the round robin, going on a losing streak and dropping an absolute shocker to Japan. Some of the stars are declining, and if they want to complete this Drive For Five, its gonna require one final effort from the veteran core to do it here tonight!

STARTING GOALTENDERS will of course be Cedric Robinson for Britain and Beazjeaux Biscuit for the Irish. Both Challenge Cup winners, but one's gotta wonder if the experience edge lying with Biscuit could be a difference maker. Hes battle tested and has been in this spot before..........
