Quarter 3:

11:00 - Whilst the Knights were winning comfortably, the Firebirds seemed to still want more, want to get back into a game that was going to take a herculean effort to get back into.

Try they did, and try they did a bunch of times. Shots from Scott Robertson, DJ Stanley, Sparks Lightning, Luke Fleming, and Cynthia Taylor all were launched at the rookie Christoffer Bjornsson who looked confident and more than delighted to be able to keep his net reasonably clean.




















































































































































But to the heartbreak of the Firebirds fans, and the players themselves, Bjornsson was pulling out all the stops to make sure the lead wasn't going to shrink, and that meant the Knights could continue putting pressure on the Firebirds and wind the clock down...





























And even though the rest of the quarter had no goals, there was plenty of shots going left right and center, but like I said... no goals, so Bjornsson had reasons to do a safety dance...
