Venables stops that puck faster than a herd of people storming Area 51 as the period expires.

We start the 3rd period tied 1-1 as Shepard takes the draw against Primeau.

     

Shepard wins and passes to Scianna who dumps it into the Armada zone.

The puck is retrieved by Reeves for Anchorage who makes the stretch pass to Kerr and suddenly the Armada are on the attack



The puck gets cycled around back to Reeves who takes a shot.....

     

Blocked by Vessot.

Rolling puck taken by Wang as he winds up.........

     

Shot goes wide and it exits the Kelowna Zone before being picked up by Reeves.

Reeves passes to Wang who dumps it into the Kelowna end and the Armada make a change.

     

As Kelowna moves the puck into the neutral zone, a pass is tipped by Blue back towards the Knights Netminder.
The Armada take control and start looking for their shot.



The puck goes cross ice to Blue who shoots................

     

Shot misses the net by inches and Anchorage gets sent back to center ice.

Bischoff dumps the puck like a bad habit and goes for the change.

     

5 minutes pass as both teams trade shots but neither can find an opening past the two red hot goalies.

This game is becoming a showdown between Del Vecchio and Venables

     

At 7:25 the puck is blown offsides and both teams get set to go.
Primeau wins the faceoff against Novotny and passes back to Reeves.

Reeves passes to Petrikov who enters the Kelowna Zone.

Petrikov passes to Blue.

Blue looks for an open teammate and passes but it's stolen by Novotny.

     

Novotny passes up to Barbashev at center ice who dumps the puck into the Anchorage side.


Puck is grabbed by Petrikov who begins to skate it out.....

     

BOOOOOOM

Petrikov is lit up by Golury and loses the puck.

Picked up by Ranch who outlets it to Novotny who streaks towards the net.

     

Novotny goes for the windmill deke around the defense and loses the puck enroute to the net.....

     

They pick it up just feet from Venables and attempt to tuck it around the pads.............
