Anchorage dominated the first 10 minutes of the game, but the Knights take the lead in this game. Both teams line up for the center ice face-off again.

Novotny wins it for the Knights again, passing the puck back to Danny White. Barbashev II skates through the middle, and receives the long pass. Dangling past two defenders, he takes a shot from high in the slot, but Venables doesn't panic and freezes it.

Mitchell van der Heijden wins the face-off to his Swiss teammate Daniel Bischoff. Bischof can't keep the puck in the zone, and under pressure from a Kelowna Knight he dumps it back in fast. While the Boats clear the zone for the offside, Novotny picks up the puck. Notvotny tries to skate it out of the zone, but is hit by Hanson. Vessot picks up the puck, exchanges passes with Barbashev II and dumps it into the Anchorage endzone.

None of the teams get any real opportunities to score a goal in the remainder of the period. We end the period with a 1-0 lead for Kelowna Knights, depsite the Armada recording 7 shots versus Kelowna's 6.

We start the second period with the same ten players as the first, and again it's Shepard who wins the face-off. The puck ends up with Vessot, who tries to find Kaspertommevisnapuu, but sees his pass intercepted by Joe Kerr. Eriksson wins the puck back by intercepting a long pass by Reeves, but he loses the puck again to an interception by Jake Primeau seconds later.

Players seem nervous for this second period, and the passing accuracy is showing it.

Danila Zhernov has the puck on his stick, and hugging the boards he brings it deep into the Armada zone. His pass to the slot is intercepted by Wang, who ices the puck.

Shepard wins the ensuing face-off in the Armada zone, but the referee has his arm up and signals a roughing penalty against Augustus Wang.

In the replay, we can see that as the linesman drops the puck, Wang and Eriksson seem to be talking and Wang punches Eriksson in the face. It'll put the Armada on the penalty kill, when they'd rather be looking for a goal to tie the game.

Daniel Bischoff wins the face-off, and neutralizes the threat for now. Anchorage dumps the puck, Kelowna picks up the loose puck and regroups. Vessot moves the puck into the Armada zone, where Kelowna starts passing around, looking for an opening. Kaspertommevisnapuu tries to find Vessot for the backdoor shot, but Bischoff intercepts and clears the puck.

Wang steps back onto the ice, after he saw his team shut down the Knights' first power play of the game. So far, both teams had one power play and neither managed to take advantage of it.

Wang intercepts a pass by Eriksson and gives a short pass to Daniel Bischoff, who skates it over the blue line and puts it back on Wang's stick. Wang tries to find Bischoff again, but Nystrom intercepts. Wang fixes his own mistake and retrieves the puck, completing the pass to Bischoff in his second try, who then brings it back into the offensive zone again and passes to Hanson. Hanson loses the puck to Forestier, but Wang intercepts the next pass and sets Hanson up for a shot...

... IT MISSES THE NET BY A HAIR!

Noah Nystrom gets the puck from Morgan Forestier and skates it out of his own zone, he crosses the neutral zone deking past two Armada players and dumps the puck into the Armada zone so his team can go for a line change.

Venables goes behind his net to the puck, and passes it into the corner to Ulrik Bergstrom. Bergstrom tries to find Cvitkovich on the far blue line, but passes right onto Novotny's stick. Novotny passes to Barbashev II and skates into the Armada zone. He gets the puck back in the slot, aims for the top right corner and.....

..... GOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL
