Novotny wins the face off and passes the puck to LaBlanc who moves the puck into the Montreal zone.

Looking back he passes back to Novotny starting a series of passes by the Knights.

Novotny to Horvat, Horvat to Puhcheese, Puhcheese to Gutierrez, Gutierrez back to Puhcheese, Puhcheese to Horvat and back to Puhcheese as the Knights look for an opening.

Puhcheese shoots and misses the net.

Rolling puck is picked up by Novotny who fires off a quick wrist shot that is absorbed by Hunt.

Kelowna continues to apply the pressure as we reach the 3 minute mark of the first period.

Bryan Lee wins the face-off against Joseph Weston in the Montreal end.

He dishes the puck to Engel and we get a 30 second burst of passing between Engel, Ranch, and Fudge that would make Joe Thornton blush.

The effort sadly, only results in a single shot by Scarangella which goes wide.

The puck is picked up and dumped into the Montreal end by Fudge as the Knights go for a change.

The puck is picked up by Hunt and rifled down the ice to Miniti.

Miniti finds his man but the puck is intercepted in the neutral zone by Devitt.

Devitt brings it across the line and passes back to Shepard.

Shepard looks for an opening and passes to Barbashev who seems poised for the 1 timer.

Puck glides towards Barbashev and he fakes the shot before sending it back to Shepard.

Hunt is scrambling back to the other side as Shepard rifles a shot on net.

Kelowna takes the early lead less than 5 minutes into the game on a quick play in the Montreal zone. The home crowd are loving it as the noise in the arena erupts.

The team's reset as Novotny faces Fiddler at center ice.

Novotny wins another faceoff for Kelowna as he dishes to LeBlanc to start another rush.

LeBlanc carries the puck in and finds Puhcheese open on the other end.

He dishes the puck cross ice but it is picked up by O'Dowd who changes direction.
